The Art Institute of Vancouver Library is proud to offer a collection of excellent databases and online resources that Event Management instructors and students can use. These resources are available for you to use at any of The Art Institute of Vancouver campuses or remotely from home for your study, research, work, and leisure needs.

    UNLIMITED downloads and full access to Firstcom’s library of over 140,000 post production music tracks. Clips may be included in internet sharing, webcasts, postcasts, cellular and mobile devices and social networks; non-broadcast audio, video, digital media; corporate intranet, and/or closed circuit communications productions. Audio MUST NOT BE USED IN ANY PRODUCTION THAT IS SOLD!
  • Getty Images - If you have already signed-up for Getty Images, contact library for access codes. Otherwise, *Sign-up* for Getty Images.
    Getty Images User Guide (PDF)
    Over 500K high quality stock imagery. Students may download up to 50 high-resolution images and an unlimited number of low-resolution imagery per quarter. Images are for educational purposes only and using them for any commercial (even non-profit) or non-coursework or non-portfolio related purposes is strictly prohibited.
  • Killer Tracks
    Killer Tracks User Guide (PDF)
    Post-production audio resource. Users may download or stream audio clips ONLY from the NJJ library, discs 101 to the most current Killer Tracks CDs, and discs 185 to the most recent Network Music CDs.     An electronic library collection of over 7800 e-books in a fully searchable database from Addison-Wesley, Peachpit Press, Adobe Press, and many other top technology publishers, covering Adobe, Maya, Photoshop, and much more.
