The Art Institute of Vancouver Library is proud to offer a collection of excellent online database resources that will aid in almost all of your Animation inquires. These resources are available for all Art Institute of Vancouver staff, student, and faculty member and can be accessed both on campus and remotely from your home. Brief descriptions of each resource along with the access web links are included below, along with various "how-to" user guides and manuals (indicated in dark red) that will help you use these databases.
**Please note that you must obtain the necessary Access USER IDs & Passwords from the library to use these resources. Please drop by at any Art Institute of Vancouver Library location, call, or email the library staff to obtain the necessary information.**
- Digital Tutors - Please contact library if you need information as to how to create a user account
Access over 11,000 video training tutorials on Maya, ZBrush, Soft Image, Photoshop, Illustrator, and more for your design and digital media needs. To create your personal account User ID: current Ai Vancouver students, faculty, and staff must use their Ai email accounts (aii.edu / stu.aii.edu). Click on "Create an Account" and use the temporary password that is emailed to you by DT to log into your new account.

Online archive of over 120 hours of streamable commercials, music videos, broadcast design clips, virals, game cinematics, short films and Behind the Scenes features showcasing the best in animation, VFX, motion graphics and digital effects. Requires Quicktime. Free access on campus - click on IP-Based Login to the right on the home page - username email and password required for remote access. Videos will not play on Internet Explorer 7. Please use Firefox, Safari, Chrome or another version of IE.
- DIGITAL JUICE (DJ) – Sound Effects, Animation, Stock Footage, and more. The Digital Juice collection is one of the few electronic resources that can not be access online. In order to search the collection and/or access files, you must use one of the three library computers that are housing the DJ collections.
